Flakka – Third Generation Bath salts

Bath Salts come in two basic types:

1. Those that act like an amphetamine.

2. Those that act like and amphetamine and a hallucinogen

As you would imagine it is the worst and Flakka (alpha-PVP) presents with an effect called excited delirium. Anxiety, paranoia, delusion, elevated body temperature, convulsion, and death or just a few of the possible effects of the drug.

Flakka was banned by the DEA in 2014 but as I write this blog basement chemist are changing the formula just enough to evade detection. This drug is showing up in Texas.

Flakka can be swallowed, snorted, injected or used in e-cigs. As with all synthetics the user doesn’t really know what they what they are getting, what the effects will be now and in the future.
